The Masseuse Book Review

I loved LOVED this book. Steamy, suspenseful, and thrilling all while being incredibly well written. I didn't want to put this book down. Dubrinsky wove a intriguing tale of love, passion, and suspense. Jezebel and Ramsey were great characters, the more I read I found myself wanting to know more about them, I wanted to see what made them tick. I enjoyed that Jezebel was so strong, smart, and savvy she didn't take nonsense from anyone. Ramsey has to fight his way into her life, and when they finally get together they're explosive. They're so perfect for each other but Ramsey's life keeps throwing a wrench into their relationship. Will their love be able to conquer their trust issues, sense of betrayal, and familial obligations? I look forward to seeing what's on the other side of the cliffhanger. I highly recommend this book, it is awesome till the end.

Honey Bee's Adventures at Wilderness Pond

Beautifully illustrated and wonderfully written "Honey Bee's Adventures at Wilderness Pond" by Cathryn Carman Davis is a delightful story that your children will love. With boldly colored illustrations Davis tells the story of a young honey bee who thirsts for adventure. What the honey bee didn't expect was the dangers that can be found in the wilderness. The honey bee encounters different animals and insects like, a lizard; a spider; and a dragonfly; that put her in perilous situations, she starts off with a negative attitude and learns some valuable lessons about responsibility and being respectful and kind.

Using rhyme, Davis tells a enriching story that teaches important life lessons. The Honeybee has an encounter with the King Frog that irrevocably changes her heart and the way she treats others. If the King Frog wasn't willing to let bygones be bygones the Honeybee wouldn't have survived her adventure to the Wilderness Pond. Children will learn the importance of forgiveness, being nice, and being responsible. I highly recommend this book. It will also be a great addition to any classroom library. There are a plethora of lessons plans that can stem from this book in every subject area. Teachers can even use this book as a play, children can dress up as the animals and insects and act out the scenes. The importance of the message would shine through with the story being acted out, I think kids will love it. This is an awesome book for early readers but has great lessons for older readers as well. Davis truly has a winner on her hands with this book.

Heat: Club Inferno Book Review

With Jamie K. Schmidt's Heat you find everything you could possibly want it a romance. This book runs the gamut of hot and sexy scenes to emotional and heart felt moments that leave readers wanting more. From the moment I started reading I was ensnared into the lives of these well-developed characters. I enjoyed that the plot and the characters were meaty and had depth, this story wasn't just erotic it really showed the people that they were. Mallory and Max were perfect for each other, I truly adored both characters. Despite the trials they had to endure they both fought and stayed strong. They were there for each other when they needed it most, even though obstacles were thrown in their way. I loved that they didn't care what people thought about them being together, they were going to stay with each whatever the consequences. I love their love story. I am eager to read more from this series.

About TOO MUCH

In Lea Griffith’s Loveswept debut, a novel that’s perfect for erotic romance readers, two lovers who have shared exquisite pain and unforgettable bliss find solace back in each other’s arms.

Jeremiah Copeland and Daly Edwards have a history. Even though he grew up a criminal struggling to care for two younger siblings, and she’s the pampered daughter of a power-hungry senator, they formed a bond that nothing could break. Only a lack of trust ripped them apart.

Seven years later, Daly has reason to believe that Jeremiah’s brother is in trouble. She reaches out to Jeremiah the only way she knows how: at his BDSM club, The Underground. But one look ignites a heat she thought had cooled forever. As Jeremiah takes control of her body once again, Daly quickly loses control of her carefully rebuilt world. Too much has never been enough between them, and as danger swirls in the shadows, Jeremiah forces Daly to recognize what has never changed: She still loves him. His command is that she return her heart—and he will make her obey.

About Lea

Lea Griffith began sneaking her mother’s romance novels at a very young age, cutting her teeth on the greats: McNaught, Woodiwiss, Garwood. As she got older, her need to devour all genres of romance–including contemporary, paranormal, and sci-fi—grew. Now, when she’s not working her day job, you can usually find her at her keyboard, using every spare second to write. She lives with her husband and three teenage daughters in rural Georgia.

REVIEW

I found this book to be fantastic, I loved it. It was incredibly well written. I didn't want to put it down. The relationship between Daly and Jeremiah sucked me right in. The words evoked every emotion to the surface you felt their pain, anguish, happiness, love, lust, hatred, fun, betrayal, and triumph. Griffith has a real winner with this book. I will definitely be recommending it. The supporting characters were equally as compelling. I am eager to learn more about them hopefully in a sequel. Jeremiah's club, The Underground,  even played a significant role, it set the scene and provided the means for the couple to play out their BDSM roles. It was the catalyst that their relationship needed to get back on track.

I adore this book. It has instantly become one of my favorites. I couldn't get enough of it as I read each page. The words evoked every emotion possible. You went through a heart wrenching journey with each character as they evolved and grew to become adults. The tumultuous situations that the characters got themselves into made you feel like you were right there with them. This was an amazing story of love, friendship, loss, heartache, and triumph. I couldn't ask for anything more from a book. Davis has me eager for more. She definitely hit this one out of the park.

Whisper by Tressie Lockwood Book Review

I really enjoyed reading Whisper. I found both the plot and characters to be very interesting. I liked that Whisper was a full figured woman, that is lacking in many romance novel heroines today. She had self-esteem issues, but she fought to make the best of her life. When Whisper and her friend Sheila meet her sexy neighbor, Alec and his pet leopard, she doesn't know if she wants to throw herself at him or run screaming. Whisper is a very strong woman, she overcame the obstacles that were thrown in her path to prevent a relationship between her and Alec. I don't think I would have kept giving him chances, more power to her. She fought wholeheartedly for what she wanted. This was a good read from beginning to end.
