Keonae and Lark both were scarred because of their past, one mentally the other physically, despite that they're willing to put it all on the line for the one person who sees the best in them. They both don't think that their good for each other but their attraction is combustible. Being a bird shifter Keonae is exactly what Lark is afraid nevertheless they're willing to overcome their fears for a love like they've never experienced. This series keeps getting better.
