Crossing Hudson Review

Yes, yes, yes! Roth has turned out another amazing book in The Guardians Series with "Crossing Hudson" I didn't want to put it down to go to sleep, I had to read the whole thing. It was awesome from beginning to end. I loved the dynamic between Maryann and her twin Eliza, one sweet and warm the other feisty and bold. They looked after each other, despite Eliza being Maryann's protector and confidant. With Maryann needing sustenance from her mate, she had a indelible bond with her soon to be mate who she deemed Cowboy because she didn't know his name or could see his face but knew he had a country drawl. They perfectly balanced each other out her light to his darkness. Nevertheless everything changes one fateful night and they both lose everything that was important to them. Maryann becomes Ryan and her and Hudson's lives are irrecoverably changed. She becomes a Slayer tainted by her past and Hudson her protector unbeknownst to them both what they are to each other. Roth gets all the stars for this great book.
