Ants: Facts and Cool Pictures

I found this book to be very interesting. I also found it to be very informative. I learned some eye opening facts about ants, some I knew and a good amount I didn't. Mayrose has taken a creature that doesn't receive that much attention, except when they are being pests, and made them seem like a well organized society. The pictures were clear and truly amazing. Readers are able to see facets of the lives of ants that you can't normally see because of their size. I would definitely use this book in the classroom, during science. I think children will enjoy learning about these insects with this book.
